Caroling Outreach

A couple in our church has secured jobs with The Salvation Army as bell ringers, and for the second year in a row they have received permission to bring a group of people from our church to sing Christmas carols while they work.

Last night was our first "performance" in front of our local shopping mall.  While we sang carols the bell ringer handed out candy canes and fliers to our upcoming "Walk Through Bethlehem" program we'll be putting on next week.

We are a small group with varying talents, but it never fails that traditional carols still reach people of all ages and backgrounds.  Not a person walks by our little group without allowing a smile to cross his or her face, and one or two even offer to join in at times.

We have fun singing and we pray God uses this little band of voices to remind people of the true reason for the season.
